PROTI Forged Titanium Fasteners

PROTI Forged Titanium Fasteners

Once I had the bike in the garage and spent countless minutes just sitting and looking at the lines and beauty of the shape, one thing stuck out to me - the black fasteners holding the beautiful matte white fairings together. That's when I decided to look for a fastener that looks the part and belongs on this majestic machine.

I went online and started with the current MotoGP and Superbike pictures of bikes, hoping to find the name of a company that I can reach out to. I found several companies making anodized, relatively cheap-looking screws that would work, but that's not the goal. That's when I came across PROTI.

After reading all the information I could find about them, titanium metal casting and forging in general, and of bolt making, I sent them an email after visiting their website. I couldn't figure out which fasteners to purchase. A quick, friendly response including the Spare Parts Catalogue (SPC) put it all in perspective. The website references a page and part number in the SPC for the given Application; eg.- Front Fender_P140 (POS5) = Page 140 in the SPC, Position 5 in the diagram.

I was on my way and placed my order within a week. Disclaimer - these are very expensive fasteners. It took about 5 days to arrive from Taiwan. The packaging is impeccable and the product is just the same, if not better. These are extremely beautiful and solid fasteners - I HIGHLY Recommend them to whoever wants a top-tier fastener that looks like it belongs on the Mars Rover

Very nice looking fasteners for sure! Do they make anything pre-drilled? Here's another site that sells quality fasteners in stainless and titanium. Not quote so expensive. https://www.pro-bolt.com

Yes they do, they mostly provide to race teams. I'm using the cowling fasteners for bling appeal mainly

ProTi and ProBolt offer Titanium fasteners but ProTi has a completely different manufacturing process which makes is a lot more superior than the ProBolt stuff.

Will you ever benefit from the difference? Not sure if you do, but then again, I'd like to have the best available for my ride.
