Custom made helmet hook

I couldn't find a nice helmet hook/lock, soooooooooooooo I engineered one through work!

It's a one-piece CNC machined aircraft billet that bolts into 2 existing holes. It's anodised type 2 black and notice it's angled backwards and downwards - both angles match the lines around it, to have clearance to the bottom of the rear seat, and also make it impossible to steal without taking the seat off.

I was playing around with the Italian flag thing + a gloss clear coat, but I'll probably leave that off when I make another one for the other side. What do you think?

I like it.

899 - rapidbike evo/shift assist - M4 calipers/330 rotors - hel brake lines/abs deleted - oz racing - 1299 headers/termi ti cans - flat link/spring - dp rearsets - 1299 slipper/mag covers - 1299 stator/flywheel - ti bolts a plenty.

Should have came with that from the factory!

Also I wasn't sure which 2 bolts you meant, because my 899 doesn't have bolts there haha. The tails are different.

I'm not sure how the 899 is but if you look closely you can see the two existing holes here (on the bike), they partly hold on the fairing:

The 899 has holes on the horizontal/top surface of the tail - https://farm9.static.flickr.com/8675...f23ab998_b.jpg

@WWiinngg You need to make something that will work with the rear seat replacement part installed - the painted side pieces and center CF or plastic insert.

The single seat cowl? I like that look ALOT!, but I have to give it up for the sake of a little bit of practicality
I can probably engineer something to suit if a few guys wanted it.
