Factory Air Filter and Grips for Sale

I replaced the stock air filter and grips, and now have them for sale if anyone needs them. Brand new. $35 including shipping CONUS.

@Dingo I'm more curious to know the impact on the fuel mixture after the change.

From what I've been able to read on recent Panigale filters, the stock one seems not that restrictive. (I'll look for that thread). If that's true, then there might not be any gains to be found by a filter change. On the other hand, if a less restrictive air filter is available, it will make your bike run lean unless you customize the ECU's mapping.

No worse than an aftermarket exhaust without a tune...

Not gonna hurt your bike...

this is the Marketplace guys...

I'm trying to sell this stuff

With that said... I put on Pro Grip 838 GP Duo Density grips and a replacement

K&N

filter.

The grips are amazing over the standard stock hard-as-rock ones. They are the same exact material as the 717 but the design is different. Get either, they're great for removing vibes.

As far as the air filter goes, I'm still on Sport Mode and haven't had my 1st service yet. I mainly changed it because that's what I always do - swap the air filter for a K&N. The stock filter is a simple paper filter - the K&N is clearly better at capturing fine particles, no change in engine behavior @DarR - I thought the ECU is able to modify air/fuel mixture on the fly?

@Dingo
I've used K&N in the past for their quality and flow. It would certainly be a bonus If the ECU is able to re-balance the mixture automatically.

@Dingo
That's a good head's up. I'll look to use these when the filter requires a change. The K&N website lists two models for the 959. The race model requires fuel management modifications. Here's the link for both:
