    About the 959 Corse edition.
The paint is drop-dead gorgeous but I find it expensive for just the Ohlins suspension.
The Showa/Sacks is already awesome and has just as much adjust-ability as Ohlins with less maintenance required.
I've ridden the basic Monster back to back with my Monster "R" that has Ohlins and can't tell the difference.
I doubt very much that you will ever feel the difference with the Panigale.
Carbon Fiber wheels are the biggest handling improvement you can make to a bike.

To answer your question, I tend to ride more alone than with the buddies. Consequently, I ride the Panigale at least twice as much as the Monster. However, both bikes complement each other in terms of diversification.

    Cheers, Dar

    Now about the Monster:
I have a few relatives and friends who ride. Without exception, they all ride cruisers:
    One HD Sporster
    One HD Low rider
    Two HD Ultra classics
    Four Yamaha V Star something
    One Honda Shadow

and me on a White Panigale with red wheels!!! I was sticking out big time.

Moreover, they like to ride at 40mph, a speed the Panigale hates and will let you know it two ways.

The Panigale needs to go 60mph or more, otherwise:
    - you don't have enough wind to neutralize the weight on your wrists.
    - you don't have enough wind to blow the engine heat away from your thighs and it will not be comfortable.

Over 60mph, It's amazingly comfortable even in hot very hot weather but do buy a pair of A* Ram-Jet pants or Dainese equivalent for those 90+ degree days.

I bought the Monster as my around town cruiser. Turn-out that I really enjoy it for that but also for mild wheelie fun. It's a very comfortable bike at lower speeds yet the acceleration is arm ripping.

    Part 1
I initially purchased the Panigale 959 after a long absence from riding (career, family, children etc.). Toronto was not a good place to ride anyways as the only curves there are intersections. When we moved to Ottawa in 2015, I had to start riding again. I had previously owned singles, a triple and a couple of line four engine bikes but never a twin. I also never had a thoroughbred race bike as all the previous were naked. Long story short, I love riding the Panigale. It's my get away from it all bike. I predominantly ride on the street although I have now taken a track weekend course and intend to do more of that I.E. three or four times a year but no more than that. It also a social outing.
To be continued on Part 2
