History
Bought #1 Yamaha RD 350 in 1975 , new at Concord Yamaha for $800 ( not out the door). Sold 2 years later , joined the US gray fleet . Was sent to Millington , Tenn. for my tech school for six months bought # 2 there . Beautiful place to ride .
About 7 years ago went to AMA races at Sonoma Raceway , had been following the Superbike and Daytona Sportbike Series on tv that year. Was very impressed with Dane Westby on a Daytona Sportbike and others to be sure but he stood out to me. Got to talk to Dane for a bit and another guy who was a mechanic for a rider named Ely. I was hooked again . Decided to buy another RD to see if I still wanted to ride , thus #3
