Had my 959 for one day. Clocked up 50 km. Went to shops, turned her off and a passer by points out a leak to me, i look under my bike and find pink/red fluid gushing out near exhaust area......

One and half hours later im still waiting for tow truck and the liquid has not dried up....

Yeah mate i hope so too.

Ducati roadside sent out a mobile mechanic and he recons its is coolant that has leaked out so lets just hope a lose hose somewhere and quick top up.

here are some pics.

well, look on the bright side - this might be a golden opportunity to drain all the fluid and put in some Super Cool with Water Wetter!

Just inconvenient, should have her back next week.
So picked her up today. They did comprehensive testing on it and it turns out it was just too much coolant put in by the factory and in hit the overflow.

Everything checked out and she ready to go.

Glad to hear it was just that, beats having something that takes you away from riding for a long time or just requires too much back and forth.

It's just too bad that on a bike like this that something as simple as coolant level was filled up too much. Not impressed.
Glad to hear it was basically a false alarm. I'm sure you were relieved as well.

excellent news, although disappionting event, isn't the worse outcome. I had an issue with a brand new Merc, never seen if for 7 weeks, it had only done 10 miles on it, was very hacked off at the time:frown2::frown2:
