2017 Panigale 959 or 2020 Panigale V2?

Should I buy a used 2017 Panigale 959 with 800 miles or a new 2020 Panigale v2? The 2017 is asking $10k. The 2020 V2 list is $16,500 plus taxes and fees. Are the improvements worth the price difference?
My current bike is a 2012 Ducati Monster 796 that I ride mostly to commute 15 miles each way on city and highway streets. My plan would be to add a Panigale as a second bike.

Depends on what you want, 10k for a 800 mile 959 is a good deal. If I were buying right now I would get the V2

@Brian
Really like your idea to keep the Monster as a commuter with the Pani as your 2nd bike.
With SSSA, Up/down Quick-Shifter, LED headlights, 4.3-inch color TFT dashboard plus DWC and cornering ABS: I would get the V2 also.
However, if it was to be a track only bike, I would get the 959 and use the difference in price to upgrade parts.
