Hey all here are some pics of my led headlight upgrade from a 1299s .

It was a pita but the results speak for themselves.

I defiantly recommend this upgrade.

Led headlight cost 650.00 and you will need the meter cover as well which cost about 30.00

Total 680.00

Takes about 4-6 hours if you do if your mechanically inclined

Are the wires for the 959 plug in play?

This is the part number needed to complete the installation, it seems that the previous models 899/1199 just had a little plastic knockout that could be removed however on the 959/1299 you will need this part to do a nice clean installation.

Part cost about 27.00-30.00

Hi! Would you be able to please share some before and after pictures of the actual lighting that these light offer? I agree they look dope, but I'll really be more satisfied if they were to actually serve their purpose more than anything else. I find that the 959 stock light has short low beam throw, a very poor high beam illumination. Therefore looking to upgrade to the 1299s set.

I don't have before and after pics, I actually replaced the headlight even before driving the bike.

The bike was delivered to me in the winter time and when it was in my garage that's when I did the swap.

0 miles and took the bike apart that was scarey.

However it lights up the road beautifully

The stock 959 lights suck. I definitely recomend the update aswell
