Hey guys I am new to the forum and looking for an answer!

I picked up a 2016 959 and am currently prepping it for the 2019 race season. I have found a number of threads about this topic, but I can't seem to find a definitive answer...so your help will be appreciated

I realize the 899/1199 has a different exhaust from the 959/1299. However, there seems to be mention of a Termi link pipe that can be used to fit a 899 exhaust on a 959.

I can only find the link pipe that will allow the front exit exhaust to be installed D155Y1299 from the motowheels site).

I have found a number of used REAR exit 899 exhaust for sale but not really any Front Exit exhaust (I would prefer the rear).

Does the mentioned Termi link pipe work for the rear exit exhaust as well? If not is there a link pipe that will allow a 899 rear exit to fit?

Thanks again

Joe

If you search on YouTube, there is a bloke who has mounted termis on his 959.
Uses 1199 mid pipe and 899 slipons. I would like to do the same
I used 1199 Termis with 1299/959 headers on my 899. Just cut off the bolt style joiner that Phl from the Ducati.com forum supplied me for $40 seems a good result.

Maybe we should petition Storm Performance to make 2 adapters so you can run 899 flanged slip-ons on 959 mid pipes, or vice versa, 959 slip-ons on flanged 899 mid pipes. :)
FYI, they are currently working on making these pieces

All the V2 Panigale headers are interchangeable but not the cans. The older style rear exit Termie cans #026TR will fit with the D00610 headers, ask me how I know they as you found out do not mate with the front exit cans.
I bought the D00610 headers in error and they are in like new condition with all the included hardware and carbon heat shield, Make me a reasonable offer.

Yup. That’s what started me down this path. But I didn’t want to change the header pipes. I only wanted to do a slip on. It could work with some cutting and welding of the adapter but I didn’t want to do that either.
I am just starting this project......
