I have been off the forum for a while now. Got busy with work and I wan't able to ride much. Went for a quick ride with my girlfriend on 8/22 and this happened.
Came around a turn and there was a car, lost and stopped in the road. No where to go. We both got a helicopter ride to UCLA and got discharged the same day. I suffered a concussion and couldn't remember my name. My girlfriend wasn't so lucky. She did a super man over the car and ripped a ligament in her foot. She has been on cruches since the accident.
Insurance is going to fix the bike. Forks did not get bent, thank god. But the damage you see is about 10k after tax and labor.
I am taking my insurance money and buying a gopro and a sena 10c to have one me at all times from now on.

I don't remember anything. I hit my head so hard I lost 24hrs. Almost lost more than that. At one point I didnt remember my own name, the year, where I was, what happened but I did remember what kind of bike I had! 0

That helmet is like 10 years old. Maybe time to upgrade to a new arai. But glad everyone's fine for the most part
