Hi all,
Just a quick shout out to anyone who can help.

I'm racing my 959 in the UK's Tri-Option Cup at British Superbikes and have a problem.
I bought the bike with the full Akra system but the regs say I need to run the slip-on kit.

Came to fit the standard pipes back on and found the full system Y connector is completely different from the one in the kit.

Akrapovic wont sell me one as its made for Ducati only and Ducati wont sell me one as they dont sell it seperately.
You can buy every other part from the kit but not that one part.

Does anyone have one they can part with, needs to fit the UK pipes layout.

Thanks for just look.

Thanks for the replies, it's very much appreciated.

Ducati Coventry (JHP Racing) are having their exhaust guy make me one.
£200.00

Far better than the £2000 for the slip on kit kit.

On another note;

Does anyone know if there is a performance modification that can be done to the standard exhausts?
Just someone said something to me but wouldn't elaborate what it was......

I thought it was to remove the inner skin, ie this is a 2 stroke thing when racing road 2 strokes.
Had a look and the 959 pipes look like they are single skinned so that can't be it.

Just wondering......

best regards

Martin

ps

here are couple pics of my Racer.

Nice look there @Racer93 - what brake lines and fittings are you using? Quick Disconnects? Did you keep the original route or Y then to each front?

No, it's a set of race plastics from JHP.
Vacuum formed fairings, very lightweight and very strong.

Very expensive.....

The brake lines are "HEL" brake lines.
ABS system removed / plugged.

We are not allowed to have a Y in the lines so they are independant to each caliper.
Could have gone for dry brake but it's just something else to give a problem on race day....

thanks for the comments, will let you know how the season goes.
testing begins in 3 weeks !!

I noticed after I posted that message that the side fairings are one piece so they would not be OEM. The little access cover piece by the shock mount threw me off. I'm assuming it's not removable on these.

It's just painted ford white and wrapped...

Had to drive 300 miles to find a company to do it but worth it.
