Long time member of the DucatiMS site, and since my white (the fast color!) 959 was just delivered yesterday in to my garage, with no miles on it, I thought I'd better join up. It's gonna be at least two months before riding season starts here in Southern New England, but until then at least I don't have to go far to stare at it. :nerd:

I test rode an 899 last year but didn't pull the trigger, but now I am really looking forward to a great season with this fantastic looking bike!

BTW, Nice Site!

Welcome to the 959 forum! Man a two month wait would kill me, you clearly have some good will power. I would have that bike loaded up on a trailer and heading south until it got warm enough to put at least the break in miles....

Can't wait to here what your thoughts are on the bike.

BTW: a picture of your beauty in your garage goes along way on this forum. Cheers

Thanks for the warm welcome! Makes up for the 10° temps outside...

I'll try to get a pic in the AM before I head off to work. The bike's up on a Sport Chock and is on Ducati's very own trickle charger, keeping the battery up to snuff 'til Spring finally gets here. BTW, that charger is really cool! Pop off the back seat, open the little door, fish out the lead, take off the cover, and snap the charger lead in to the harness. WAY easier than taking all the plastic off to get at the battery!

Congrats! She looks pretty as ****.

I wouldn't be able to wait that long either they give it to me when it's nice and dry out or don't giev it to me at all lol.

Are you going to put any stabilizer in the gas for the time being? Since it could be a while before you take her out for a run.

I don't know about the stabilizer: it won't do any good unless I start the bike and let it run for a long time, and I really don't want to start it if I can't take it out, since sitting there running isn't the best thing to do to a new bike. Any thoughts?
