Hey everyone, new member here from Austin. Picked up my bike a little over a week ago. Have always wanted a Ducati and finally gave in and got it, couldn't be happier.

Have already got tons of Ducati aftermarket parts ordered and can't wait to get it all on the bike, the main one being a full Titanium Akrapovic Exhaust.

Congrats on the Duc and good call on deciding to go with an Akra exhaust setup, those are just about the best in the game although pricey, well worth it.

Congrats on the bike! Jealous of the full exhaust! Just can't get myself to shell out those big Akrapovic dollars! Although I may give in if someone doesn't come out with something soon! lol!

Yeah I had to go with the Akra system, the sounds, and weight reduction and the bluish coloring just did me in.

I started with a 2000 GSXR 600, upgraded to a Suzuki TL1000R, and finally had a ZX-6R Ninja. Ducati has always been my dream bike.

I don't think there is another exhaust I would want out there. The sound, weigh and coloring did me in. I did look into Termignoni, but it wasn't for me.

Austin Sportbike Riders does a Monday night bike night at Doc's downtown. There's usually a pretty solid turnout. What part of town are you in?

Then there's the whole bling factor, it's like the Rolex of exhaust systems. Have it and you'll always have other enthusiasts looking on even when your bike is standing still and off. A few times I caught some enthusiasts looking at my bike. Can't blame them

I couldn't blame them either, I'll probably be staring at it a lot myself lol, as I always stared at others that had them :smile2:
