Hello guys.
I had other bikes in the past, like triumph daytona 675 for instance, and my knees were always sitting perfectly on each side of the gas tank. It was great for cornering and control under braking, etc. Why is the ducati 959 (or any panigale) so weird in terms of body position? My knees never even reach the gas tank. I installed the techspec grips and they intentionally supply the tank pads along with additional pads that mount below the gas tank because they probably know that the rider’s knees cannot reach the gas tank. Why is that? None of the bike I’ve ridden in the past had this problem. Does anyone else have the same experience? Is it possible to remediate this issue?
i tried stiffening up the suspension but it made no difference.

I 100% agree, Not only do I struggle hanging off at the track, but stabilizing myself on the brakes too.
