Though I'd share some pics my detailer took of the bike post detail/ceramic pro application. He also coated the loose parts of the DP tail tidy and indicators which will be installed at first service. Plus removed the reflectors which looks a little cleaner.

Nice work. I do my own detailing and have for several years now. I really enjoy the process and results. I'll have to look into ceramic pro! I use mostly meguiars, poor boys and chem guys products.

Looking good! I agree that the bike looks so much better with the front reflectors removed!

Wow!! love it! Ofcourse i'll google this product, but do you know if the dealers do similar detailing like this? are they significantly more expensive (i think so). How long did it take you to do the entire bike?

I seriously need to get the bike detailed, I think the paint job on this bike is awesome but lacks a protective film that you'd expect in luxurious brands.

Anyone who applies ceramic pro should include a pre-detail, otherwise they'd be sealing in the bad paint work. Even fresh from the dealer the bike had plenty or swirls, marring and even fine long scratches. It should usually take a day or 2 depending on if you want to leave it to cure longer before jumping back on it but due to bad weather I dropped mine on monday and picked it up on saturday. Plenty of time to cure (had to give extra time for a coat of resin used to help ceramic pro adhere since it's made for paint with a clear coat). Cost was $380 (Aust) and he said he would take care of it over time for me if the CP wasn't working as well for this paint - free re-application and cleaning.

I had a significant amount of paint correction to attend to. I did the fairings a piece at a time as time permitted. Parts of the nose fairing have to be done by hand.

Did you remove the fairings to do this? I inspected the paint under a flash light and the only place I could still see fairly decent scratching was around/beneath the rivets which I guess you could only correct if these were removed. Can't see them under normal light so it doesn't bother me much but would be extra nice to get them out!

Yes I did, my Porter orbital has the 5" back I think. Was too big to get some parts with concern for the back contacting other areas by mistake. Played it safe and just did a few sections by hand. Turned out fine enough.

Ceramic Pro for Artic White paint.

Hey guys! Just recently purchased my own 959 (woo woo) in Artic white and was looking into coating it with the ceramic pro. My only concern is if the ceramic pro will affect the satin finish of the bike. If anyone has any experience please let me know! Thanks
