Hi there guys,

I have a Panigale 959 2017 model 10100km on the clock. I had an issue where the gearbox input shaft had to be replaced as it was "bent", just received the bike back now from my dealership, now the clutch bites so soon, it feels like there is literally no play or chance for me to be able to pull away without either flipping the bike or doing a burn out. Anyone here knows what the reason for this might be?

In-depth explanation:

Start the bike in neutral
Pull clutch in towards the handlebar
Releasing the clutch causes it to bite (engage) immediately. within 2mm from the handlebars.
It used to engage almost halfway further away from the handlebars.

I hope this explanation makes sense>

I'm frustrated as ****, please can someone tell me what is going on?

Regards.

I would take it back to the dealer and have that adjusted. Did they hand the bike back to you without a test ride to make sure everything was in order?

Bleed your clutch line? Sounds like its not engaging until essentially full pull, so might be a bubble in the line.

Did they remove the clutch plates at all during the repair? The plate stack may not be seated correctly or they may have been reassembled in the wrong order. Try the simple stuff first. Bleeding, lever adjustment, etc.

I will also mention, my 959 clutch grabs way before the clutch on my Monster.
