Preferable over the 899 display. I don't want to be squinting at the screen while riding because the display isn't visible with tiny letters.

Ducati needs it, this is an important bike for the brand and being in the era of bikes it's in, this tech will help to give it even more of an upper hand in the market, just sticking to the traditional digital display as seen in the examples above won't serve them as well as the TFT will.

What i'm saying is we need it on the 959.
Not sure if the 959 will get the lap logger but you can always grab an aftermarket one. think the AiM Solo-DL GPS lap timer/data logger is one of the more popular ones.

Agree, but they probably figured that the way it was done on the TFT screen helps in making it very clear and easier to read which on a bike matters a lot.The lap logger in the third picture looks the best.
