Hey guys i just purchased my new Ducati, and im a bit curious.. When i was purchasing my motorcycle comfirmed many times if it was a 2017, i asked the sales man if all of the 959 in the showrooms (which there was 4 identical ones) if they were 2017,even with my insurance i told her it was a 2017 model, while doing paperwork i re-read my contract and it said 2017 ducati 959, so i signed... when later i received my keys the keychain that has Model, year and so on, it said 2016.... Can someone inform me about this, is this something i should be worried about?

Sounds like it was the wrong keychain if all the paperwork says 2017. The VIN number will tell you for sure.

just check the vin or the paperwork and it will have it all listed. if you bought a 16 I hope you saved some money but they are identical bikes.

Bikes usually are classified as the next year spec from about September. So a September 2016 is considered a 2017 spec bike.
