Ducati Digital Analyzer for 959

Have any of you purchased the Ducati Digital Analyzer for your Panigale? I'm pretty sure I'll be adding that to my 959 if I get one. From what I've read/heard it sounds like it would be really cool to have for track days.

What do you all think?

Are you refering to the GPS data acuisition kit, part# 96580091A MSRP $599.99? If so, then I say yes! Because it works very good and gives you all kinds of data to look at on your computer about your riding.

I believe that's it. I think they call it DDA+. I'm assuming those are the same things. I know it gives you all kinds of data for laps, etc at the track. But do you know if it gives you that kind of info for a street ride (max lean angle, etc)?

Yes it's called "DDA" and yes it would give you the same data on the street. But it makes more since to use on the track so you can compare lap over lap.

Rucks, are you planning on doing any trackdays with your 959 this year?
I live in California. I'm trying to get some friends and fellow duc owners together for a trackday weekend. If you or anyone is interested. Wouldn't be till October.

Did you mean to say October? Here in Washington track days are over by then. They run roughly April to September in Washington. I imagine in California you can so them year round? Out of curiosity why do you have to wait so long?

Yes I am, this was the main reason for me buying the 959. I will be going a few events at "COTA", Motorsports Ranch, NOLA and maybe a few "Ducati Rev's" events.

Yes October. I live in L.A. so If I'm going up to Sonoma I want to do a full track day weekend, not just one day. Z2 track days has a double header weekend planed then so I'm making plans to go to that. Got a buddy with a motor home so we are camping at the track in style. Also have some friends in the bay area with ducs, hoping to make an unofficial duc weekend out of it. Everyone is welcome. I'll start a new thread when sign ups are open.

I have done track days before. The 959 Will be a beast on the track. When you get the DDA and test it out on the track let us know what you think. Part of me thinks it would be a bit of a distraction.
