An issue I've run across: my 959 does not like drastic temperature and humidity changes at all. The only thing the bike has trouble with under a huge climate change is starting. It takes several attempts to start it after taking it out of the closed off garage to the outside. The difference is that in the garage it is probably about 35 degrees F lower and the humidity inside is also probably about at least 50% lower. Basically: if condensation appears on the bike, it will not like starting in the slightest.

Solution: I have found that starting the bike before opening the garage door is the best approach. The bike starts normal and "gets on it's feet" before trying to overcome the climate change.
