Hi all

Anyone fit a set of Ohlins FGRT203 forks to their 959? I've seen someone write up about the mod on a 899 but no further details than just the one-liner. These forks are for the 1199. Does anyone know if the triples, stem, front axles on both bikes are the same size?

I know the Pit Bull triple clamp stand works on both bikes... not much help I know. I believe the axles are the same, but I've never measured the triples.

From the research i've conducted so far:

1 From the technical drawings for both the FGRT203 (1199) and FGRT214 (899/959) it looks like the only differences are the upper triple (yoke)
2 Looking at the part number both the 1199 and 959 share the same lower triple/stem, bearings, etc
3 Looking at the part number both the 1199 and 959 share the same front axle and bearings, etc

The images below are a little lo-res. I have the orig pdf if you are interested

the 1199/1299 base has a larger top clamp due to the marzocchi forks.
If your order the 1199/1299 S/R model forks they are the same top clamp size as 899/959
The lower Clamp is same size across all bikes
I am looking to upgrade my front forks. If I find 1199/1299 s/r stock forks they will work with the stock 959 triple?
If I buy an aftermarket triple clamp (like this one) Do you think the steering steam will fit across all bikes?

I ask because I did something similar to my 03 SV650 back in the day. Upgraded it with GSXR suspension. Looking to do something similar.
