Hello! My name is Wwiinngg and thought I'd quickly introduce myself - I'm an engineer from Sydney/Australia and I just picked up a brand new AWS 959 :D

It's still being broken in but I'm loving most minutes of it! However I don't love the:
- heat
- mirrors not folding so I can't filter properly
- gigantic number plate holder but I get that's a legal requirement for all manufacturers
- low speed jerkiness
Looks like everyone has the same complaints and I think it's already time for 1199 mirrors, the ducatispacers and their heat sheilding kit? lol

Otherwise I'm happy to be a member here and I've already combed through the forum for info before buying. Here it is at Warragamba dam :)

Welcome!

The fix for the heat is to go faster!!

The "jerkiness" you feel is standard issue for the Ducati twins. You might try messing with your rider aid settings. IE: sport vs race mode - engine brake settings.

I usually drop down to Sport mode through traffic, then back to Race once I hit the back roads. Makes a pretty big difference.

Welcome to the AWS family and congrats!
You might want to sit further back in the seat to resolve the “heat issue” - adjust your riding position. Possibly look into the Race Seat also.

Yep from the research I've already got the fat comfort seat installed and I found doing a little legspread every now and then whilst moving helps. Might give those "heat out" or neopreme shorts a go too...
