Congratulations Renzo on the purchase. Why such a long wait for it?
Congratulations Renzo on the purchase. Why such a long wait for it?Hello,
Just put a deposit down on a red 959, upgrading from my 2000 M750. Got a pretty good deal from Ducati of Winchester and should have it in a couple of months hopefully.
Looking forward to chatting with you and showing the progress of my bike as I upgrade and customize it.
Renzo
Just sold onr house and want to close on the new one first. But I plan to pay cash if it's beneficial.Congratulations Renzo on the purchase. Why such a long wait for it?
That's it other than a dirtbike. I'll probably start off in wet mode until I get used to the powe change from the 750.Welcome to the forum.
What other bikes have you owned in the past if any?
Have you started thinking about what changes you'll want to make to your 959?
Are you planning on doing a (or more) track day? That would be a good place to learn. And I'd suggest doing the school/training if that's an option near you. Once you get comfortable with this bike, you'll love it.That's it other than a dirtbike. I'll probably start off in wet mode until I get used to the powe change from the 750.
I am going to start wit sliders and some heat shielding and then going to work on learning how to ride the **** thing as best as I can.
Then maybe an exhaust?
Exhaust is it, Akra of course![]()
Unless you have another exhaust maker in mind.
Its either Akra or Termi, the forward exiting ones, but not sure I am sold on the looks yet. But good benefits. Are you planning on doing a (or more) track day? That would be a good place to learn. If you don't mind me asking, what's the family name?Welcome to the Forum!
I had to comment when I saw you were from Culpeper, VA! 90% of my Fathers side of the family resides in Culpeper. You have some beautiful country to ride over there! Your new 959 Panigale will eat up those curves with ease. Makes me kinda jealous actually.
I don't mind at all. The family name is Lacy. From what I hear in irregular updates, half the family are town trouble makers. lol.If you don't mind me asking, what's the family name?
And yes, some roads here are amazing to ride/drive!
