It's pretty hard to not be happy with the 959 Panigale. The less powerful ones are fun too. There may be other bikes that would be easier on your knees. Have you though of getting a non-sport bike?
Knees are only an issue when pedaling a regular bicycle up hills or walking alot of stairs. Motorcycles are not an issue. Still like carving corners and want to take this thing to trackdays. Glad to hear that since some people I know with the same issue on bicycles also have it on motorcycles, but it only shows up after riding for a long time.. an hour or so.
