Hey guys, I just out a deposit down on a ‘17 959. So excited to pick her up. I’m coming from previously owning an R6 and Gix 750. Have rode a few twins, including RC51 and Monster.
Have always lusted after the 916-998 era ducs, and finally it’s time for me to get one. Was deciding between the Diavel and 959 - I know, two very diff bikes. My brain said Diavel, my heart said 959. Diavel would be great for my 90mi work commute, comfortable for longer rides, lower peacock factor for parking in the city. But i just am not ready for a “cruiser” bike at 37 and miss the riding experience of a sport bike.
I’ll be picking into up from Oregon in the coming weeks and can’t wait to get out and ride, and meet some local riders!
