Just saw this last weekend. I'm not a big Moto GP fan but know the big names and their teams. Great flick narrated by Brad Pitt following the life of 5 racers over a couple of seasons. Maybe I'm the last one to see it out of everyone else, but if you haven't seen it try to check it out.

It's better than the last 2 Rossi biopics that came out. I'm obsessed with MotoGP. This movie told more of the story. It's well done.

Do "The Unrideables" and "The Unrideables 2" first. You'll be glad you did.

This ain't no ""Rossi biopic". It's about Marc Márquez defending his World Championship title and Lorenzo, Pedrosa, and Rossi, with a lot of others in between. If you're obsessed with MotoGP, you might like "The Unrideables". It's about late-80s MotoGP on 500cc two-strokes when Americans dominated the sport – guys like Eddie Lawson, Wayne Gardner, Kevin Schwantz, Wayne Rainey, Randy Mamola and Kenny Roberts. These guys were mostly ex-flattrackers so they knew how to do controlled rear end slides to get around corners faster. The Europeans had no clue. And the bikes these guys rode had around 160-170 hp at the rear wheel. No electronics and a powerband so narrow that literally grabbing a millimeter too much got you a high-side.

I bought this on Blu-Ray when it came out. I think it's a good one. Not great, but really good. Up there with "Faster and Faster" and "Fastest". Brad Pitt blows as a narrator. Ewan McGregor narrated the previous two by this director and it made a difference.

Is this on Netflix or Amazon?
You can get both of "The Unrideables" and "Faster and Faster" and "Fastest" on Amazon. "Hitting the Apex" is not being streamed anywhere yet, as far as I know. Also, treat yourself to some of the Isle of Man TT Reviews. 4 hours, plus or minus a few, of each years TT. All the races. It's the most awesome thing I've ever seen. They routinely ask MotoGP stars if they'd ever do the TT. They always say, "Not a chance in ****." or something to that effect. Actually going there to watch and ride in the controlled speed newcomers lap is on my bucket list!

Hitting the Apex is on Apple TV in iTunes Movies...
I saw the 2012 TT documentary - it's also on my bucket list of places to go and ride. The documentary was great! Heck, watching any motorcycle racing is great!!
I definitely have to look into all these other movies/documentaries that are mentioned:

Hitting the Apex
The Unrideables
The Unrideables 2
Faster and Faster
Fastest
