I just switched insurance to Markel.
They have an ad in the latest Motorcyclist magazine,
I saved over 60% over State Farm, and they also give $1000 in accessory coverage included.

So I'm guessing you're ticket free for the last 3 years?

I have 4 other bikes with them and I'm getting a quote of about twice that with $1000 deductibles. I have about 4 speeding tickets within that last three years though. :crying: (all while driving too - go figure)

Yes, I haven't gotten a ticket in over 5 years, probably. From what I recall, 3 speeds in 18 months is subject to forfeiture of your license. I suggest you take a MSF course to help with your situation!

I had some of them reduced to "following too close" or something to that effect. But thanks, that does explain the great rate. Three of the violations fall off next spring, so if I can make it till then I'm in business! lol!

I didn't exactly got what you said, is it $577 per month or per year. I tried GEICO online, it gave me a quote for $644 per month.
I don't own a car, do I need to own a car to get a deal like this? this is the first time I am thinking to but a bike, little help will be appreciated.
Thanks

@Arby - 12 Month Premium $577
Take $577 and divide it by 12 = $48.08 per month

Yes you would need to have a car, possibly 2, and be my age with my driving history to get a deal similar to what I have.

wow thats a really good plan you have with geico. I just switched over to them when i got my 959. I still pay a little bit more so im trying to wonder why. Im 27 and have never had an accident or a speeding ticket. But it could be because you have more then one vehicle on your coverage and ive heard they give discounts for that.
