SSSA is heavier than DSSA. SSSA needs more mass to stop flex. But I wouldnt go saying its a boat anchor or the likes.

Overall I think we are still heavier though due to the gas tank, rear subframe and engine covers

^This. The structural rigidity of the SSSA isn't on par with ours and nor is the weight. It does however cause random erections and that's gotta be worth a pound or so... Performance wise, an SSSA will NEVER outperform a DSSA... All of the critical sub components are inherently going to wear better and perform at both their peak and longevity better too...
