The 996 has motor work and lots of track goodies. But it doesn't have the electronics or 20 years of innovations.
They weigh almost the same, but the 959 handles like it's on rails in comparison. It "feels" lighter.

I'm sure your mods help, but they really are light years apart.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the new 959! Did you make the conversion to race-only, or you mixing street/race?
