Don't you have to pay some kind of fee to bring it back across the border?
Even if you did calculate it correctly I have to mentioin that there is also an uncalculated value on time. a process like this can be extremely time consuming with potential headaches as well. is it worth the $3,000? Maybe if you can spit over the boarder, but anything further and I think not...Our price 16850.00 plus taxes

That's if I calculated this properly
Are there any catches to this? Any problems registering it in the states, bringing it across the border, with the warranty from Ducati, or with resale value down the road? If not, I might opt to do this...Our price 16850.00 plus taxes

FYI, I called a ducati dealer in Canada today and they said that they cannot sell new ducati bikes to US citizens. They said that I could come in and buy equipment or a used bike from them but could not buy a new bike from them. They said that Ducati places this restriction on them so they're not competing across the border. I realize that many of you may already know this but I figured I'd let everyone know what I found out. I understand why Ducati does this. But I had to ask.I doubt there will be any issue with it being registered in the U.S. but there might be some limitation when it comes to insurance.
