Thanks! Not as much as I want to. Had the 848 for 8 years and only put 8k miles on it. You can definitely tell I don't ride much and I rarely ride the streets.Congrats on the purchase ! Do you track often ??
Thanks! I am in Southern California and usually ride Chuckwalla or Willow Springs.Congrats as well - what part of the US are u in and what track do u frequent?
Cool, I'm looking to get out to both of them this year at some point... :wink2:Thanks! I am in Southern California and usually ride Chuckwalla or Willow Springs.
For the most part. On my 848, I threw on the street fairings every other month and rode the local canyons for a day to keep fluids running through the system.Welcome to the forum.
Will it be strictly a track bike?
My go to spot is Moto Forza for major services and do the little things myself. I was able to reset my own service light on the 848 with ducatidiag. Hoping to find another program to work with the 959.Cool, I'm looking to get out to both of them this year at some point... :wink2:
Where do you plan on servicing the 959?
Oh man definitely, I presume you have a daily driver ?Thanks! Not as much as I want to. Had the 848 for 8 years and only put 8k miles on it. You can definitely tell I don't ride much and I rarely ride the streets.
I sure hope so. I didn't test drive the bike before buying and have yet to start the new bike. I thought I was the only one who didn't have confidence in the front end of the 848. Even after changing the triple tree offset, I never really got comfortable with the 848. Look forward to this bike! You will definitely prefer this bike over the 848. I had an 848 track bike for several years and was never that pleased with its handling, never had a lot of front end confidence. I think the 749 handled much better than the 848, but the 749 had no power. Anyway, the Panigales' are Ducatis best yet, IMO. Enjoy!!
