New owner, two issues: pre-start oil light never illuminates, and slow speeds roughness

Hi everyone. Picked up a ‘16 959 in AWS (first Ducati I have owned) last November and have been loving it so far, but I have noticed two minor issues:

1.) The oil pressure light on my bike never comes on pre-start; for reference, the ABS and DTC lights come on as they are supposed to pre start (and go away once the bike is rolling), but never the oil light. Oil level is checked before every ride and has always been adequate and the motor runs without issue. Thinking it is a wiring issue or faulty sensor and of no real concern- anyone had this problem?

2.) While in first gear, the bike does NOT like to operate under 8 mph without significant bucking/shaking and will not make it down to 5 mph in gear without stalling. This makes tight low speed maneuvers dicey at times. Is this normal for the 959? Perhaps it could be because of the exhaust that the previous owner put on, i.e. an Akrapovic system from Ducati that apparently either came standard or was a factory option for the 1199R (mufflers are marked Titanium and have the Ducati logo and a Ducati factory part number, along with an Akra logo). Could it be that the ecu needs to be tuned for the Akra setup, and the low speed roughness is a byproduct of this? Have any of you ever put this exhaust on your 959?

All thoughts are welcomed!

For number two that is normal, even with the stock muffler. I think its real lean down low in the RPM's to pass emissions. It can and has been tuned out depending on what you use for a tuner.

Good to know, thanks for the input.

Out of curiosity, I am going to put the bike in Wet mode the next time I am out to see if that makes any difference. Have only rode in Sport and Race modes, which obviously have more aggressive throttle and engine braking characteristics and may be factors contributing to the roughness.

Throttle is a bit sloppy and there ae cheap fixes. My Service Guys at Desmoto Sport addressed it. I usually have the clutch pulled in at those speeds my engine braking is pretty high
