Hey Rex welcome to the boards!
Welcome! A panner is certainly more stylish... but will you be comfortable riding in your work stuff?Hi, everyone.
Thank you for having mere here in your forum.
I have enjoyed eavesdropping in the forum here for a while. It has been very useful for me and I have gotten a bunch of good input. Plus, it is entertaining to read posts from others who share the same interests in motorcycles.
I am 44. I have been riding an old BMW 80R/7 and a Harly Sportster which my wife is riding now. I live in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Ducati got my attention with the launch of the xDiavel.
I was determined that my next bike would be one of the lage Harleys. I just have not been able to come to terms with the extremely low lean angle of the larger Harleys. On the sportster it is fine but I really want some more speed. Both a quicker and a faster bike.
My next bike will be a new Panigale 959 or a new Monster 1200. The XDiavel is over my budget - and I am leaning towards the foot positions of the Monster or Panigale over the forward foot position of the XDiavel.
During the week, I ride in the city and around the city to visit clients, have meetings, etc. Approximately once a week I go on 3hr rides (each way) on high-way with work. On weekends, I tend to take longer trips to the country side with the TomTom on Max Winding Roads. A few times a year, I go on longer trips. Hopefully this year, my first longer trip will be to Italy on my new Ducati to participate in WDW.
I look forward to contributing to the forum and share thoughts and experience with everyone in here.
Best
Rex
