After being with my CBR600 for a few years, once the 959 comes to market, we'll be parting ways! Great toy for getting a taste of more power... coming from 250's, and as anyone here would understand... leveling up is a must.

Always like the 899, 1199 and even the 1299, but as my budget allows.... 959 is looking to be it, for now.

That's quite a big jump in terms of cc from a CBR600 to a 959. You are probably going to get the adrenaline rush of your life!
It is but to me the 600 was the perfect bike to then transition onto something much more powerful and to a bike I can see myself with for a while to come rather than something i'll get rid of a year or two later. 959 could be that long term keeper.
Thing you'll love is the TORQUE. Those 600 4's are torqueless wonders, no one wants 10K+ RPM in town...The duckies just walk out of the hole, so much torque at the bottom. They call V-Twins stump busters for a reason ;):D

welcome to the show!!

Why the big jump up in stead of moving up in cc a more modest amount? Just curious.
I want to move to a bike that I won't get bored of a year after owning it and with the power that 959 has, i'll have enough to play with.

What bikes would you consider if you were to move up from the CBR600?
Well the next logical step in the Honda lineup would be the VFR800F.
