Who designed this mud flap?
It allows a ton of crud to get jammed into the very large pocket created by failing to mold a plastic barrier extending down from the flap to the swingarm top.
Remove it once in a while; you will be amazed how much dirt and rock debris collect in there.
The attached picture shows a duct tape barrier I put in that otherwise open gap (1-2 inches tall) to show you just how much room they left to collect debris.
I plan to seal that gap with some foam.
