Hi,

I'm looking to remove the secondary air system from my 959.
All the 899 race bikes over here have it done and I'm going to do it to my 959 race bike.

Has anyone already done it? Do you remove the valve in the airbox and blank off the hole or leave it alone and job blank off the covers in the heads?
I've already bought the engine blanking plates but obviously they come with no instructions....

cheers

How was it, and do you need to wait till after you flash or tune the bike? If you disable it, won't that alter how much O2 is in the exhaust, causing the stock O2 sensors and ECU to try and mess with things for emissions?

I normally disable SAI on my bikes when I tune them, usually just stuffing a marble into the hose coming off the airbox and then reattaching it to the airbox. So it's all there and can be undone if needed, but it's 100% blocked by the marble in the hose.

Thoughts?
