Hello all,
I'm in the process of getting my race bike prepped. My first outing at the track, the front brakes were *terrible*. I'm trying to bleed the system but no matter which bleed nipple (calipers or master) I connect the bleeder to, I get constant air bubbles and the lever has gotten no firmer after a whole can of Motul RBF.
My next move is to grease the threads at each fill nipple to prevent air from leaking into the system while the vacuum is pulling things out. What else might I try while I'm in there? Any chance the master cylinder has gone to pot?
History on the bike - I did buy a salvage motorcycle. While it was prepared by a local shop, I have to assume anything could be a culprit.
Thanks All!
Jim
