Yesterday I installed the slip on termi front exit exhaust. The right side fairing is just about touching the muffler (maybe a 1mm gap at most). I wanted to put some kind of heat shielding on the fairing so it doesn’t melt. Any suggestions on an adhesive heat shield that will withstand the heat even if in direct contact with the exhaust? This seems to have been a problem with other panigale as well even with the original exhaust.

I got the clearance issue sorted out on that side of the bike. However I noticed when the kickstand fully extends with no weight on it, it slightly hits the carbon fiber and has made a tiny chip in it. I’m not worried about the chip, but obviously don’t want it to get any worse. Once the bike leans on the kickstand there is enough play that it pushes it away and doesn’t hit anymore. Anyone else have this issue? I appreciate any suggestions.

Btw this exhaust sounds amazing. I’m really happy with it.

Nice,
Funk motor sports they are in the UK. Funk Motorsport: Reflective Gold Heat Tape for induction kits & bulkheads

I would put that tape on the faring also under your seat and on the back of your licence plate holder. I’m getting some soon this is the best I’ve found.

As for the kick stand I would mark it where it rubs and just sand it down a very little with a dramel sanding bit. It just barely touches. Do that only if you can not adjust your exhaust or kick stand a little.
