Hope sth comes later on - I love how they sound compared even to Akra.
SAME. But I think Akra is now an official partner with Ducati. When the 899 debuted I believe it was still Termi.Hope sth comes later on - I love how they sound compared even to Akra.
clamoroso - Termignoni lascia il posto ad Akrapovic. - DaiDeGas ForumDucati leaves Termignoni Akrapovic Closes in the box was a Ducati MotoGP. After 10 years, changes the supplier of the discharge for the Desmosedici official Termignoni gives way to Akrapovic. The Croatian producer will be the official supplier of the team from the San Marino Grand Prix, ahead of plans. After the tests made in the summer seems, in fact, that new discharges, as well as a different distribution of power, even allow you to limit the chatter. To install the new components, much work has been done on the tails of the bikes of Andrea Dovizioso and Nicky Hayden on the first day at Misano .... Akrapovic exhausts will not be used by the Pramac for a contract with the Italian company SC Project, which provides the Tuscan team for several years.
Termignoni S.p.A. has an exclusive agreement with Ducati Motor Holding S.p.A and all the information about our products and spare parts made for Ducati Performance must be requested directly to Ducati Motor Holding or in Ducati Store.
Not quite. What Termi actually says there is, any and all requests about parts we made for Ducatis in the past must be directed to Ducati. We may still get an exhaust from Termi as their agreement with Ducati hasn't ended yet. Went on their site for any news and found this:
I believe this is true as well. There are other posts here discussing this.I thought the 1199 is the same size as the 899, which is not the same size as the 1299 or 959...
Not sure about the Termi quality vs the Akra, I've only owned Termi. But the Arka pricing is significantly higher.problem with Termi is their quality is just not up to par with Akra despite asking similar money... yea they sound cool, but they look ghetto...
$2800 for Akra slips and $2200 for Termi slips.problem with Termi is their quality is just not up to par with Akra despite asking similar money... yea they sound cool, but they look ghetto...
899 specific slip ons will not fit the 959. (57mm header pipe)I believe this is true as well. There are other posts here discussing this.
are you saying i can buy a used full system for an 899 like an exisitng termi or akra and have it fit into the bike? if so we all can save a ton of money that way.899 specific slip ons will not fit the 959. (57mm header pipe)
1199/1299 slip ons will fit the 959. (60mm header pipe)
899/1199/1299 full systems will fit the 959 because they replace the header pipe all together.
That's a lot better pricing than I've seen so far on the Akra stuff. Where did you get these quotes if I may ask? I was quoted $3,700 for the Arka slip ons.$2800 for Akra slips and $2200 for Termi slips.
$4100 Akra full system $3700 Termi full system.
Either way, we pay an arm a leg and a kidney. Lol. Ducati tax*
