So I stumbled across this system a few days ago.

It's the SC project S1 and looks pretty awesome! I've checked the website but I couldn't find any more info. On the Facebook page it's advertised for the panigale range including the 959, however I dunno how accurate it's gonna be as its modelled on the 1199.

Also, not too sure if it's gonna be a full system, just the silencer. Regardless, looks ace and will no doubt be a fair bit cheaper than the akra official items.

If they make one for the 1299 it will for sure fit, you will just need to get a proper fuel MAP to load after installing it. But if it's only for the 1199 and it's a full system it will be slightly different.

I thought the 1299 had a different diameter header pipe?

And yea that things going to be LOUD. Like nearly GP loud...

Have you checked that it will fit the 959 with Euro exhaust?
Yeah they said it would be for the euro 4 bike, not too sure about the the US bikes though. Definitely on my list, and if I venture onto track, I'll just put the stock pipes back on because I doubt the dB levels on this would be alright for most UK tracks!

For sure you are right with that! Makes no sense, but that's the way of the world. Not sure even replacing the db killers in my Akrapovic would get me through the noise test at Cadwell Park. We will probably try this year though. My 1299s with Akrapovic and GF's 899 with Termi's. Join us if you like, we'll blow them away!

So glad we don't have to worry about the Euro4 emission or Db levels. Sorry gents!

That'd be awesome, people won't wanna come near us with ear defence, should free some space on track ;)

Greeting from South Africa. Took my bike in today for it's 600 mile service. Spoke to the guys about after market exhausts. I was told that Ducati only keeps it's warranty in place if you go for the Akra slip on or full system. They said that even when putting a slip on exhaust on the 959 you will need to remap the ECU. Is this consistent with your experience? From what I have seen there are a couple of other manufacturers coming to the party with exhaust systems but not sure is this includes chips and remapping.

Seriously, the reason why most of us have a 959/899 is for other characteristics other than HP. With all due respect to our Euro-Asian friends who must endure Euro4 compliance, the under-belly exhaust is part of the attractiveness of the Panigale. For a few more bones, you can buy 40 more HP's by going to the 1299. If SC or any other after-market exhaust is going to win my heart, it must be better looking than stock...IMHO.

I was told the same thing by my local dealer this week picking the wifes bike up from its 1st service.
