I've got the DP comfort seat and it's comfy, but too tall... I can't cleanly "reverse" the bike because it's so tall/thick.

I'm thinking about going back to the stock seat, and getting it shaved down and getting a gel insert stuck in instead.

Has anybody done something similiar? Or got other ideas?

Stock 1199 is much thinner and cheap to buy for a try out.
