On one of my later sessions during a track day, I'm waiting in the pit to begin the session. Line starts moving so I start the bike but the check engine light comes on. Bike is in limp mode as try to move to the side. I restart the bike to see if the check engine light will go off on its own. It's still on but the bike was no longer in limp mode. For the rest of the day, the check engine light stays on but the bike rode normal.
The next day, the check engine light went off on its own. I used MelcoDiag to read the fault codes and P2120 and P2121 (throttle position errors) came up.
I've experience similar symptoms about a year ago right after installing my RapidBike EVO module. Yaman from RapidBike had helped me restore some seemingly broken settings in the module and the issues went away so I didn't think much of it. Now I'm trying to figure out if this recent mishap is related to RapidBike or not. If not, is this fault code serious and need to be resolved by Ducati?
