I sent this email to Tuneboy:

1) You ship to the USA correct?
2) How does adding CC affect the ECU and Maps? I believe it doesn't change any maps but does it alter the ECU in any other way other than just adding CC? I had a cold starting issue on my bike early on and the dealer may have updated my ECU to solve the problem and I just wanted to make sure that adding your CC wouldn't affect that.
3)Does your system save the stock ECU flash so that it can be restored if i want to set it back?

But i have not gotten a response yet. I am going on a long trip with my 959 in a few months and I was thinking it would be great to get Cruise Control! Does anyone here know exactly what adding Tuneboy's Cruise Control alters in the ECU? What all is involved in the procedure for doing this? Does it simply just add CC and leave everything else exactly the same? What should I be expecting here?

The reason I'm asking is I had a cold start issue early on and I think the dealer may have flashed a new ECU and I wanted to know if its going to affect that or not if i add the CC.

Any info from someone more experienced with this would be appreciated. Thanks!

No the CC only doesnt effect the OEM tunes.

Theres no way for ducati DDS 2.0 to know if the ECU have been reflashed by anyone. There is coding line for ducati software versions which doesnt get altered due 3rd party reflashes.

the CC only is exactly that. Curse control. Note: Nudge buttons cannot be setup or added for the CC only tune.

you can do it yourself if you buy the module to do it.


TBH, just get the Tune/Cruise. it is so worth it.

I might need to look into buying that Curse Control with all the idiots I encounter on the roads. LOL.
