Hello,
We are planning to build two 959 for track use.
Unfortunately the noise restrictions on many race tracks in the EU are very strickt. Therefore we are looking for a under belly or under seat exhaust system with noise level (static) of max 98dBA @ 5250rpm.
Any Idea?
Anyone measured the noise level of the US OEM system? Any other ideas?

Stock underbelly US exhaust has been measured around 103db.

Max 98dBA @ 5250rpm but at what distance and angle?.
The Devil is in the details.

I've done a comparison using the J2825 methodology a few years ago when comparing the new exhaust on my Monster.
Using J2825, a Panigale 959 with a stock US exhaust measured >100 db @ 20 inches @ 2000 rpm.

Aside for the above, this is the requirements and methodology for my local track which does not use J2828.
The stock US version Panigale 959 passed the requirements below.
However, my buddy's 1198R with Termi (without baffle) did not.

Hi D,
I believe I used A throughout just like this Multistrada which measured 87 dbs.
Very quiet relative to the Pani and Monster.
