Vibrating Mirrors

Is it normal for the images in the mirrors to be distorted on a flat paved road when going ~80mph?

I haven't even adjusted these mirrors since I picked up the bike from the dealer.

They seem firmly attached.

I haven't noticed significant vibration at any speed.

All I see are blurry headlights in the mirrors because of the vibrating. I guess I'll deal with it.
The mirrors on the 1299/959 are better than the 1199/899 as they are shorter (on a wider fairing) but they do still blur at some speeds. They are only there so you can check for flashing blue lights (cops)!

Depending on what kind of rider you are you might not have to worry about cops ;)

On a serious note I have noticed that some cops don't even both with riders unless they're stopped at a light or just in a situation where they can't get away. Any way to reduce risk .
Yeah, they vibrate a lot.. lol. Only answer I could come up with was to get bar end mirrors..
You could get one of those mirrors that actually attaches to your helmet.

Always within the limits, my friend. >:)
Okay, whatever then. I don't care as long as I can see the blobs.

Yeah, that's right; they don't need to be focused blobs, just blobs will do. :wink2:
What you see in your mirror is behind you. What's behind you is in the past. Focus on what's ahead, the future.

Unless it's the cops; then it could well be your future!
