Hi All,

I'll cut to the point, I can't start my bike, there's noting, when I turn the Key all the lights are flashing, hazards, neutral, fuel warning, rev counter etc

Any ideas given its got less than 400 miles on the clock.
Someone said it may have water somewhere it doesn't like, but surely riding in rain isn't outlawed so to speak given I'm in the UK and it rains a lot here

I've ordered a dryer so I can blast it afyer it's been washed going forwards, but it this a common issue or should I get the Service Centre involved.

Thanks, it's been on the Battery Tender and is showing fine.
Called my local Dealership who suggested giving it a blow dry and see if that works before calling Recovery out to it.

Mine did the same last week it was the battery voltage dropping below 10 that caused it. Put it on the tender and it started fine when it got up to 14v. I have a tracker so I could see on that the voltage had dropped and its due to the tracker draining it.

Thanks Bomper, I have the ducatti Tender and got 2 green lights, still won't start. Might have to get the actual amp meter on it then.

have you checked the battery. sounds simple but all your dash lights can still work even when the battery is flat.

Nothing Happens, checked all fuses and got a new battery in it. Its now at the dealers as less than 400 miles on it.

Do you guys jet wash the bikes? I never do as they can cause water ingress in lots of areas if too powerful. But yeah shouldn't have those issues only 400miles in and at least you can get it fixed on warranty @Dave L

Hi Matt,

They have informed me that there was a diagnostic port under the seat which had evidence of rust. So they have brushed it down and lubed it up. Will know more for sure tomorrow if I can pick it up but they said they got it started.

And nope, I don't jet wash it, but I had also only just washed mine a few days prior as had been out and in heavy snow. Thay was a fun ride home I assure you. But slippy to say the least

Thanks Dave ile head into the shop sat morning lift the seat check the plugs for moisture it has to be water because it only did it after a wash my issue is the shop dosnt have the hardware for ducati's it's a multi scan tool that isn't compatible my closest shop that specialise in ducati performance is 12 hours drive away so really relying on some feed back from your situation to aid me in problem solving mine I also only washed low pressure with the garden hose . Cheers mate hope they get yours singing for ya ✊💨

No Worries. Hope it's something minor like mine. Normally I leave the bike running after I've washed it to evaporate any residue, this time I didnt.

Yeah mate I did that after I dried it off I let it run as I rode into town the warning ⚠ and engine light appeard I lost rev tacco then it re appeared rode the rest of the way ok about 20mins then the shop changed my fork seals rang me the next day said the dash was like a disco and won't fire the feul primes but no bang ?

So all they done to mine is take the seat off. Dry out the diagnostic port which they said showed signs of rust, given it a clean and then spray with contact grease and it fired straight up.

Also turns out only get 2 years warranty regardless that it's onky done 400 miles so cost me £88 for the Hours Labour.
